Safari world, the open-air zoo and the kingdom of animals and cute animal shows, is located at 99, Panya Intra road (Soi Ramintra 109), Samwa Tawantok (west) district, Khlong Samwa sub-district, Bangkok. It has been opened since 1988 with over 720,000 square meters space. The area is separated into 3 zones. The first zone is Safari park which allows tourists to observe animals’ natural lifestyles.
There are giraffes, zebras, ostriches, white rhinoceroses, blackbucks, crowned cranes, lions, tigers and Canadian bears. The second zone is the Marine park or water park where there are marine animals and shows such as orangutan show, sea lion show, stunt show, dolphin and white whale show, espionage dispute show and bird show. Moreover, there is a macaw parrot garden, a crocodile pool, a polar bear park and an elephant show. Another interesting spot is the Jungle walk which is newly opened and you can feed the giraffes here. Moreover, you can see the bird’s eggs exhibition, Sun Conures parrot area,
Russian Walrus area, parrot area and rare animals such as Victoria crowned pigeons, Arapaimas, giant Capybaras, fluffy seals, Lemur cattas, grey kangaroos, leopards, giant Macaw parrots and red-shanked doucs. Safari World is clearly a best choice to visit especially those who come with family.
Children will have a chance to see cute animals in perfect natural world while adults can relax themselves by watching animal performances. Inside the park, there are many facilities provided. Tourists can visit Safari World every weekdays (Monday – Friday) from 09.30 – 17.30 and weekends and national holidays from 09.00 – 18.00. You can buy just one ticket to access to every zone. You can visit Safari World by bus number 26, 60, 71, 96 and 115 or by air-conditioned bus number 26, 60 and 501. Another way is getting on red minibus around Fashion Island or Soi Khu Bon,
Ramintra road kilometer 8th or by taxi.
